5/5 experience !As someone who’s worked in the dental profession for 9 years I wanted to try a dental office other than work, I want to this dental office and it was both clean, and professional. The front office staff was very professional and attentive to the insured and uninsured which was very nice to see . The back office was just as great ; very thorough and trained in chair side manner , and taking quality x-rays with minimal exposure, great job! The dentist is a great example of patient flow , he took his time with me , created a treatment plan for work I’ll need and gave me a really good cleaning . I recommend this dental office to anyone who may have had a bad experience; the dentist is very gentle and patient . Also wait times are normal for any dental office I didn’t mind the wait because I know some procedures can take longer then others , it was a 2 hour wait but you have to be mindful it’s a office that offers walk ins, in any kind of facility we all have to be mindful that sometimes we just have to be more patient, this is a really good office and wait times are subject to change ,I’m 100% happy with my treatment . check them out! Chow

Like what’s the point of giving someone an appointment if they will still have walk in wait times? If I get there early I at least expect to be seen at my actual appointment times… Like come on y’all sometimes people take off to take care of multiple things. I do not expect to be waiting a whole two hours after my appointment time. Then my son is a few months from 18 and you tell me I still have to stay in a waiting area for him or else nothing won’t get done. I’m sorry but this is why I don’t like coming to certain areas for business like this is my only day I have and it’s wasting on waiting because he’s 2 patients behind appointments!
Ether Channeling

We love it at dental dreams- belair. It’s always clean and staff is very welcoming and friendly.. Most times they have gift baggies for the kids. The doctor’s always answers any questions I may have and the wait is never too long. They also offer a play room for the little ones.I recommend dental dreams – belair to All of my friends and family.

I had a wonderful experience at dental dreams the staff was very nice the doctor was very professional and knew his job very well. Everything went well and made sure I would be in no pain ,everybody was very pleasant, Doctor was all about his business and did it the way I thought it should be done and that is quickly and with the least amount of pain, I would recommend dental dreams to anyone.
Ice Breaker

My husband had an appointment here yesterday for a cleaning. Everything went smoothly at first then the dentist recommended and extraction that was needed. He reluctantly agrees to the extraction but did it knowing it was necessary. The dentist said he would be sending something over the the pharmacy for pain and an antibiotic. I get to the pharmacy and they only have the antibiotics so we call the office and they apologize and say give it 30 mins and the pain medication will be sent over. I go to Walmart up the street and return to the pharmacy about 40 mins later. They still have no medication for pain. We call the office and are told he was gone for the day and won’t be back until next Thursday which is 6 days from now. I ask if there anyone else who can either reach him or send the medication. We’re told the other dentist in the building refused since he didn’t perform the extraction and that they do not have a manager there to escalate the problem to. The woman who answered the phone said she reached out to a manager via email since she does not have a phone number for her and was waiting to hear back. Th main issue here for me is not just that he forgot to properly treat a patients pain after surgery but that there is no real procedure or protocol for how to help of this happens. The woman on the phone was professional and very apologetic so this is not against her but the company as a whole. I work in healthcare myself and there is no way that if I forgot to do something as important as sending medications to a patient that nobody would either send it for me after reviewing my plan in the note or call me on my cell phone so I can do it from home if nobody else at the office could do it. The company needs to do better when it comes to handling these type of situations.

I went in for a deep cleaning and to have a couple of teeth extracted. Dr. Chu was AMAZING!! He made me very comfortable and handled me with extreme care. To explain just how comfortable I am with him, we’re on first name basis after just two visits.

I had to get a permanent filling of a tooth, post root canal and a deep cleaning done. I would just like to say the ENTIRE staff of Dental Dreams was more than professional. The whole process was quite pleasant and easy. From the inquiry phone call, to the initial exray exam and booking of my appointments, all the way to the dental procedures itself with Dr. Choo. I was very impressed.Big shout out to Dental Dreams y’all the real MVP’S. 5 star Team….Keep up the great work!

Everyone was Soo nice.. my Lady dentist forgot her name but she was sooo gentle and she made me comfortable..The only thing was how the water was splashing everywhere all on my face and the water was super cold.. I didn’t like that. But other than that oh and my appointment was at 11 I didn’t get seen til 1215. But other than that it was cool

My first experience at Dental Works was very impressive. The deep cleaning was painless. The hygentist took her time, she wasnt aggressive and was very gentle. I’d had it done before at my previous dentist and it was not a pleasant experience.
I’m very happy that I chose Dental Works as my new dentist and will also refer my daughter.
Chantelle Graham

Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and professional. Dr Lee and his assistant were friendly and professional too. There’s a display on the wall stating come as a patient , leave as family! It’s true so thanks to all at Dental Works. Highly recommended!
John Ringgold

I was able to get an appointment immediately to address the concerns of my teeth. Which was a blessing. The staff are always professional, helpful and go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of and Dr. Cho is the best.
Renau Smyth

I can’t say enough about how friendly the staff is. Very helpful and the dentist and hygienist are awesome as well. I’ve been a patient for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Vickie Shrader

Staff and dentists are very friendly and accommodating to your needs. Very clean and comfortable environment. Very good dental work. Glad I switched to this dental office! Also in case anyone is wondering specifically about this-they do accept Medicaid/Medicare for adults (idk about children but I’d assume they do for them as well)

Dental Designs of White Marsh is the best!! We are new patients and everyone, and I mean everyone, has been the absolute best!! Dr. Dez and Dr. Santos have taken great care of examining our teeth and even fixed a broken tooth already. Linda, is the most knowledgeable Dental Assistant I’ve ever met! Our Dental Hygienist, Cindy, cleaned our teeth so well. She was so nice and personable and talked us through everything that she was doing. She taught my daughter the proper way to floss and even recommended flossing tools that help make it easier. Avery is always smiling and welcomes every patient as soon as they enter the office. We’re glad to be patients at Dental Disigns of White Marsh!

I went for a visit because my mouth was hurting took x-rays. Come to find out. The doctor said I had two cavities and she supposed to prescribe me some medicine for pain and infection. Call the pharmacy later no prescription and the system call back the next day, no prescription in the system called the office. They don’t open on Saturdays so now I’m paying still with medicine. ♂️
Tony Murphy

I found the staff to be very courteous and accommodating and pleasant. Everything ran smoothly and I was seen in a timely manner. The dentist was very understanding and quickly addressed my concern. I would recommend Dental Dreams to a friend.
Barretta Gray

Worst experience of my life. I called the day before to get the jump on things and gave them all my insurance information. They called me back the day of my appointment to let me know everything came through good with my insurance and I was all set. So I leave work 3 hours early, sit in the waiting room for 2 hours before they come out and tell me I don’t have dental insurance. So I show them my ID card and they say “oh that’s medicaid we don’t except that.” No, it’s Blue Cross Blue Shield. “Oh well that’s for medical not dental.” No, it literally says dental right on the card.
“Oh we don’t take HSA plans.” It is not an HSA plan. They hung up all 6 times my insurance provider called them to try and clear things up and then threatened me if I did not leave immediately. And apparently they still charged my insurance for a bunch of services I never got. The real kicker is when they called me to inform me they were going to charge me $100 for missing my appointment…while I was standing in their waiting room.

This was the first time for me and my son and I was very happy with the service, staff and location. This place was Awesome! Next day appointment, quick wait time, very clean office and friendly professional staff. This is our new dentist from now on! Thanks EVERYONE.

The experience in the office is always pleasant from the front desk to the back. My hygienist is the best. Always pleasant and explains everything that she will be doing and why. I am glad I was recommended the this office over 15 years ago. Some of the personnel has changed but the atmosphere hasn’t. I have and will continue recommending this dental office when asked. Thank you for your wonderful services.
Nora Booker

I had a great experience at Inner Harbor Dental. They’re location is convenient and the office is clean. Marissa (unsure of spelling) was my Hygenist and she was the best. Very informative and welcoming…she has great energy. The doctor was friendly as well. I’m counting down to my next cleaning, lol.
Ashley Hodges

I really liked this dentist when I first started coming here but after yesterday I WONT BE BACK!! My appointment was at 9:30 after sitting there for ten minutes and watching other patients who came in after me getting seen and I’m still sitting in the waiting area I walked to the receptionist and asked how much longer she told me five more minutes they were just releasing every. First of all if you have a patient appointment at 930 that should’ve been done already. Second of all why did I have to ask what was going on in order to be told. POOR COMMUNICATION TO YOUR PATIENTS AND A LACK OF CONSIDERATION FOR THEIR TIME!! BYE!! I WON’T BE BACK!!
Merchelle LaGrone

It’s always a pleasant experience beautiful, and Clean facility with over the top professional staff. I’ve recommend Inner Harbor Dental to everyone I hear say that they are looking for a dentist. Also may I add pain free dental for every procedure I’ve had since 2017
Acoyea Mangum

This was the worst experience I have experienced today!! On December 2 I had 8 teeth removed and a temporary partial denture for the top part of my mouth! Unfortunately nobody there believes in writing things down and putting the information in your chart! The first visit was back in October and I was told that I needed a some work done on my teeth!! And that I had an infection in my teeth and that they needed to take them out! Well Dec 2 today I had that visit and I had 8 teeth removed and a partial denture!! These are all the front teeth! Well during my first visit I told them when ask what are you allergic to and I told her!! There are two meds that I can’t take and one will definitely kill me and the other will break me out in hives so I told them to put that information in my chart!! Well after everything was done don’t you know it was a prescription for the same medication that would put me in arm’s way! So even the pharmacist was like you can’t take this medication because of your allergies !! At this point I’m very concerned because i know that when all the numbness wears off Iam be in some sort of discomfort!! This is the second time that these people didn’t write down my allergies like really y’all !! And the first time I’ve had 8 teeth removed all at once! And when I called back to see what was going on they told me her license doesn’t permit her to write down any kind of pain medicine! Had I know all of this trust me i would have never agree to come in today!! Now everyone can’t take Tylenol and ibuprofen!! And I felt like she should have told me that she has a limit to what she can prescribe to people! This is BS!! They don’t listen to people or they just don’t give a flying fart!! Iam
In a bad mood and i know from past experience that when they remove my tooth it was some discomfort! Either she is a student and still in learning mode !! Or just told me that so I can go see my primary doctor or go to the ER room at the hospital!! I have never in my whole entire life been told that a dentist can’t write a prescription for a pain !! I wish she would just have told me that she was limited in her practice and I could have went somewhere like clear choice!! all I hear is oh Iam Iam so sorry!! She will be very sorry! Cause i definitely will let everyone know about my experience with inner Harbor dental and Associates!! They even give dogs medicine but not human beings! Clear Choice will be where I had started not to go and so heartbreaking that I did!! I just had a gut feeling! They messed up big time and my temporary dentures are horrible! One side of my gum is cut down so bad I can’t smile because you will see how my gums show! The side of my mouth hurts because of the hard material it’s feels like plastic and for 700 00 dollars I got ripped off !! My sister had her mouth fixed today and they gave her medicine for her discomfort!! Unbelievable!! I see what they are all about money ! Smh they don’t care about anything or anyone else!!

I came in with a lot of fear & anxiety after having not been to a dentist in 6 years – I had a very traumatic past experience with the dentist after an injury. They made me feel comfortable and really helped ease my anxiety. The hygienist was super patient with me and explained everything she was doing. I really appreciated the extra time she took to make sure I was okay. Everyone in the office was extremely warm & kind from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. I have a long road ahead of me to get my dental health where I want it to be but I feel really hopeful about my care being in their hands.
Cait

They definitely overbook patients, so expect slow service. Had some booking issues and they tried to change my appointment multiple times. Staff/providers were friendly. Hygienist gave a fine clean. Dentist was moderately thorough, I came in at the end of the day though. Be aware of their aggressive no show policy.
Zack Pelland

Very pleased with my check-in, service and checkout experience! I’ve never left the dentist office stating “I had a good time.” But my hygienist Audrey and her assistant Daytona had me laughing, selling them on the benefits of hot yoga and just having lighthearted conversation. It’s nice not just this time of year, but ALWAYS to provide awesome customer service and I definitely received it. Plus the other staff who have been a part of my and my family members’ treatment over the years asked about them… that’s real community and caring. Thanks DOA of Cross Keys team!

This is a wonderful dental office. I have been going here for almost 2 years and have had only positive experiences and outstanding dental care! The staff aren’t just welcoming and connective, they show real interest in patient health. The office is extremely clean and there are many windows in the dental rooms so it feels bright and cheerful. They have also been very helpful throughout insurance switches.

Everyone here goes above and beyond to ensure every child and parent understands their dental health. They even provide small educational materials for procedures your child may not have experienced. Very professional , polite and friendly staff. My 3 children have been receiving dental treatments at this location for years! However , I’ve noticed a great change in the atmosphere since the new manager has started. Miss.Netta is awesome! I’m not sure who this message needs to be delivered to but pay that woman well and generously please ! Keep her around , she’s such an asset.

My daughter has been going here since she was a baby and I must say this place has gotten better over the years. Now the wait time is less, which was a big problem in the past. Is there room for improving the total time spent there? Yes, but I respect the improvement so far. The staff has always been great. The waiting room and back room need redecorating. It’s very outdated and been the same forever. Add some life into that waiting room! Please!

We get there the front desk chick said I just seen his name and verified his insurance then say oh we cancelled his appointment and put someone else in his place like how and why talking bout u didn’t confirm his appointment miss I was just here last week so u lied and said u verified his insurance like y’all shoulda call and said y’all cancelled his appointment time and money wasted y’all need to do better

Great experience and this was our first dentist appointment ! We got there at 3:30, her appointment was at 4. Not a long wait, straight to the back. They made sure she was comfortable and was very patient with her since this was her very first time at the dentist. We were out by 4:25. Staff was very friendly!

Do not book an appointment here, bad scheduling system and no communication with patients. I booked an appointment a month in advance for filling repair, provided insurance information, etc…
With no notice and no communication the office cancelled my appointment the day before. There was no message, call, email, anything. I’ve already time off from work and chosen not to see other providers that had sooner availability, the practice clearly isn’t interested in actually seeing patients.
Update: I called to ask why, the at the front desk claimed she called, she never did and just made a phone number that isn’t what was listed on my appointment request. 🙁

I highly recommend Dr Patel. He is very knowledgeable and I trust his abilities and opinions. He fully explains things and is always willing to answer questions. His assistant Tiffany is wonderful. She kept me informed during the procedure, predicted my needs, and is attentive. The front office staff are welcoming and always willing to answer my questions about the billing. I didn’t see Marie the hygienist today, but she’s also top notch.

Common services include preventive care such as cleanings and exams, restorative treatments including fillings and crowns, and cosmetic procedures like teeth whitening and veneers. Some dentists may also offer orthodontics or oral surgery.
How can I find a qualified dentist in Baltimore?
Finding a qualified dentist in Baltimore can be done through several methods. You can start by asking for referrals from friends, family, or coworkers. Online platforms featuring reviews and ratings can also guide you. Additionally, checking with the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners can help ensure the dentist is licensed and has no history of malpractice.
What should I expect during my first visit to a dentist?
During your first visit to a dentist, you can expect a thorough examination of your teeth and gums. The dentist will typically take a dental history, including any previous dental work or health issues, and conduct X-rays if necessary. Following the examination, the dentist will discuss any findings and propose a treatment plan based on your oral health needs.
Are dental x-rays safe for patients?
Yes, dental X-rays are generally considered safe. Dentists use digital X-ray technology, which exposes patients to significantly less radiation compared to traditional X-rays. The risk is minimal, and the benefits of having a clear assessment of dental health often outweigh any risks associated with radiation exposure. Dental professionals typically take precautions to minimize exposure, such as using lead aprons.
How often should I see a dentist for check-ups?
Most dental professionals recommend visiting a dentist for check-ups at least twice a year. Regular visits help in the early detection of issues such as cavities and gum disease. However, individuals with specific dental conditions may need to schedule more frequent appointments based on their dentist's guidelines.
What types of payment plans are available for dental services?
Many dental offices in Baltimore offer a range of payment options to accommodate patients. Some might accept dental insurance and provide direct billing to your insurance carrier. Additionally, many practices offer flexible payment plans, financing options through third-party companies, or discounts for patients who pay in full at the time of service.
What should I do if I have a dental emergency?
If you experience a dental emergency, such as severe pain, swelling, or an injury to your teeth, it is important to contact your dentist immediately. Many dental offices offer emergency services and can often accommodate urgent appointments. If your dentist is unavailable, visiting a local urgent care center or an emergency room may be necessary.
Can dentists in Baltimore provide dental work for children?
Yes, many dentists in Baltimore are trained to work with children and provide pediatric dental care. It is recommended to start dental visits by the age of one or when the first tooth erupts. Pediatric dentists focus on the specific needs of children, ensuring they receive the care necessary for healthy development and establishing a positive relationship with dental visits.
What are the signs I need to look for in dental health?
There are several signs that may indicate the need for dental attention. Symptoms such as tooth sensitivity, persistent bad breath, swollen or bleeding gums, or pain when chewing should not be ignored. These could be signs of underlying dental issues, and it’s best to consult a dentist if you notice any of these symptoms.
