We got engaged very recently and needed the ring resized (it was about a full size too big). We did not purchase the ring here but I felt uneasy sending the ring through the mail for resizing and wanted to find a local jeweler who could size my finger and resize my ring in person. I brought in my wife’s Mother’s Chinese silver tea set the lady only offered me $260 for it which I thought was a good offer until I realized that I didn’t bring in the lid and one of the Chinese sticks when I brought in the lid and one of the Chinese sticks the gentleman offered me $50 the whole teapot three teacups three silver plates that they sit on and 6 silver Forks and get 260 then get 50 for the lid of the teapotand a Chinese stick. It says on the website that they will go over everything with the values and I feel like something is wrong why would I get 50 bucks for the teapot lid and only $260 for the entire teapot set I think it depends on what person is there at the time but the other person I got I feel like she ripped me off I would have never felt this way had I not gone back in and gotten 50 bucks for the lid of the teapot and then realized that I only got $260 for the teapot the teacups the tea plates and six Forks I then went on the website and said the question to someone about it and no one ever responded when I confronted the person who originally waited on me she said nothing and I feel like someone should have done something when you go to these places you trust that the people behind the counter are going to be fair and they’re going to be the same no matter who you go to why I would get that kind of money for the whole set and then get that for just a lid makes me never want to go there again

I had inherited Stieff Rose Silver and I had no idea what to do with it. It wasn’t going to get used. So I looked on line to see if any place bought it specifically. I found Samuelson’s. I reached out and got an appointment the next day.
We went to the Quarry Lake location. It is very nice. You are not just walking into a storefront off a main thoroughfare. It’s more private and polished which made me feel more comfortable about doing this. We met with Ron. He was very polite and professional. He answered any question I had and even suggested to reach out if there was anything else he could help us with.
In the end this was the right thing to do versus it sitting around for another 30 or 40 years in a basement or garage. I would definitely recommend Samue

I received an appraisal for my engagement ring and wedding band. My engagement ring features a Tahitian black pearl so it is quite special (to me). Ms. Broussard was great with providing me information about appraisals on our initial call. She completed my appraisal in approximately 2 weeks. She is very knowledgeable about jewelry. She gave me suggestions on where to sell my rings, which is a bonus for me. She is good at what she does. The appraisal was reasonably priced. Our communication was through text and that was fine for me. She provided me with documentation, pictures, and a flash drive. You can keep in mind that this is my first appraisal so there are no others to compare with. However, I do recommend her.
