My group booked the VIP package and it was certainly worth it. We had a great night, enjoyed the food, loved the entertainment, and service was great! If you’re looking for a unique dining experience I recommend checking this place out.

I have been wanting to come to one of these for years so today I spontaneously bought a solo ticket and picked the VIP package because why not. I was a little nervous to go alone but my section was so fun and the people around me were great. I got to sit in the front row and my team was the blue knight, who was super engaging and had great energy. The best part of the show was when our blue knight won! The atmosphere felt like our section had won the World Series lol. The food was surprisingly good and a unique experience. The horses were adorable, so well-behaved and impressive to watch. All-around, the impulse purchase turned out to be money well spent and I would highly recommend it as a date night or go solo!

Had a great time celebrating our friend’s birthday. I had not been to one of these in nearly 30 years, and I don’t know why it took so long to return. We are regulars at the Maryland Renaissance Festival, so we had to go to this in garb.
The show was great, wonderful horsemanship and very skilled performers.
The food was very good, the only thing I didn’t care for was the eclair for desert. My wife had the vegan option, and loved it.
The facility is very nice and well cared for, and the staff was outstanding, friendly and outgoing.

Fun atmosphere, very family friendly! The only drawback was space seating at the tables. You’re literally elbow to elbow with your neighbor. If you use the promo code online and then decide to upgrade it takes the promo off and you end up paying full price thinking you got the.deal so check your receipt!

I’ve given the food a 5, because, we were all pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food. You cannot expect more for what this show is to be honest, and the chicken had a good flavour and was well cooked. The sweetcorn was too soft for me but can’t win them all.

Show was great for the kids who really got into it.

Well run experience.

Great theater. The only down side is a lot of the patrons aren’t theater people and treat it like a ballgame. The show isn’t over yet and people are heading to the door. They can’t even wait for the actors to take a bow.
The neighborhood needs some revitalization. But the theater is great.

My first time there and I was very impressed. Nice downtown location and easy to get to. There’s a parking garage connected to the facility with elevators that put you right at the door. Easy in and out. The facility looks very modern as it’s very clean and you can tell it’s been updated/maintained very well. Staff was very friendly and concessions were available at reasonable prices.

Very nice venue! Staff members were all very courteous and friendly. Generally-decent view of the stage from all parts of the room, with a few obstructive columns you need to take note off. Good sound quality throughout.
Bar service was quick and easy. Three bars were open for walk-up service. Saw wait staff with tray of drinks probably for the few tables available (if you get there early enough). There was a ‘food window’ with limited menu of ‘fun foods’ (franks, nachos, etc). Restrooms are clearly marked and spacious. Some ADA seating available.
Parking within easy walking distance was convenient in a garage on the diagonal street corner (prepay with app online for a remarkably easy entrance and exit to park).
First time here, and I recommend this venue for concerts and will be happy to return to see other performances.

I’ve only seen a handful of shows at the Soundstage, but I always have a good time there. This night had me seeing my good friends Drug Church for the 8th time in 6 years. You can’t beat a Drug Church show. They are akways a blast. Friendly bar staff & good sound. Recommended!

Great drinks and great atmosphere! I used to go to a hole in the Wall bar for small college rock shows back in Kentucky and this made me feel like I was right back there in my home bar. It’s standing room which I prefer over having to scramble for a good seat and the energy is fantastic. There’s a clear view of the stage from almost anywhere in the bar. The food menu also was super tempting my friend had some things but I didn’t get anything.

This venue has very poor and illegal ADA accommodations. They also will not return emails.
The ADA accommodation seating requires people to walk up steps. This is illegal. And puts them with very little visibility of the stage. It also very much limits option for using restroom due to stairs. The venue finds it acceptable to charge disabled people $40 per seat to utilize the seating next to the stage so they can actually see the performance.

Please contact this venue and complain if you need accessible seating.

The restrooms are always terrible. Toilets clogged constantly and nothing gets restocked during an event.

Its sad. This venue has great sound and stage. Just sucks at everything else.

Came Wednesday for the Citizen soldier concert. Best concert of my life. Only downfall was $14.50 for a beer and an hour wait for food. I understand was 1000 spectators but should find a way to decrease the food time with maybe better prep. But overall great experience. Will be back

Benji’s Drive-In Movie Theater is a true gem! It’s such a great way to step back in time and enjoy something classic that’s fun for all ages. There’s just something magical about watching a movie outdoors, under the stars, while cozy in your car. The whole experience is a mix of nostalgia and excitement, whether it’s your first time or you’re reliving old memories. The staff is welcoming, and the snack stand has all the must-haves, from popcorn to candy. It’s the perfect spot for a family night out or a laid-back evening with friends. Benji’s is more than just a movie—it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!

Our favorite summer activity!! Loved watching some new movies at bengies! Prices are super reasonable and way cheaper than the movie theater. Our first time, we paid the outside food fee because we assumed food would cost the same as in the theaters. But it was way cheaper! Food was pretty good too and don’t miss out on the funnel cake after the first movie. Bring some bug spray if bugs find you tasty. lol My partner didn’t get bit but I did. Overall great experience if you’re up for a late summer night!

This place is the coolest place ever it almost brings you back in time, the concessions are great prices and the parking is great. Make sure you turn off your lights. They are very, very crazy about lights being on when driving you can bring your dogs if you want to. I saw lots of pets. This was our first time there and we are definitely going back again.

They are very particular about the rules and you should definitely check that you can turn your lights all the way off before you drive there. That being said, this is a really fun movie experience for families, couples, or groups of friends. They have a good sized snack bar in the center and bathrooms on either side, there’s even a playground for kids if they aren’t into the movie. You get a double header of movies with your ticket so it’s great value there. And the comfort of being able to bring blankets, lawn chairs, snacks and more with you to experience along with the movie make it really unique in the cinema world. If you’ve never been to a drive-in you’ll really appreciate this experience. If you’re familiar with drive-ins you’ll appreciate the nostalgia

Wow! What a cool place this is!
We went to the Friday night “Doubble Feature” on Memorial Day weekend and saw Garfield and Ghostbusters. It was a fun night out.
The snack bar has plenty of choices including burgers, dogs, chicken sandwich, pizza, fries, fried mushrooms, onion rings, etc. in addition to the traditional movie fare.
There is a playground under the big screen for kids to run off steam before settling down in the car for the movie.
What a great change from the traditional movie experience. Be in your own space while enjoying fresh air, good food and a great show.
Great experience and we will be back!

Positives:

The venue is quite charming, with comfortable seating and a great view. The restrooms and concession stands are easily accessible.

Negatives:

Parking can be expensive and confusing, so using rideshare options is recommended.

There were some issues with certain staff members who were not very professional, respectful or helpful. It would be great if the management could address this, as it would greatly improve the overall experience.

I attended the Bored Teachers Comedy show. Great show! A friend and I had the whole upper section to ourselves all the way in the back. I would like to go for a musical or concert to see how it is musically acoustic? Lobby area was nice, the security staff was through and nice, and kept the lines moving.

First time to this place for JoKoy comedy show. I enjoyed it. Had great seats. Kings of weird how the middle seats were but I didn’t have an inside seat I was to the side mostly so it was ok. The foyer it live or whatever you want to call it where the concession stands did not take up the area for people in line for merchandise so it was weird and very much in the way. Other than that it was great. Not sure the regular type venue that’s there.

Today was my first time going, a matinee on a Saturday afternoon for a decent price when all the other theaters were sold out (Wicked’s opening weekend.) The history of the theater is evident, but makes me feel like Black ppl were probably banned from going in like the 1950’s when this place was in its heyday. The seats were clean enough, but somewhat uncomfortable. I’m a thick madame and they were a lil tight. The sitting area in the ladies’ bathroom is cool. I didn’t get any food as I had just come from Belvedere Square. I tried to go through the door labeled “Lounge,” but it was locked. Cool sidewalk out front. The parking lot is in serious need of repair.

The Senator is A Baltimore Treasure. Historic. An older theater. Took my brother there for this bday to see Bad Boys Ride or Die. Myself and a lot of others had a hard time seeing coming into the actual theater bec lighting was very lacking inside. Hard to see in the dark and find your seats. This was 25-30 min before the movie started. Clean Inside. Very Retro aesthetic. Not much space to stretch your legs out. Nice big screen and awesome booming sound. Decent ticket prices. Staff made the best of having to work on a Sunday evening. Not crowded. Had a nice time. Thanks!✌️

Brings me back to the simple days!! My son and I have date nights every Friday and he chose to go to the movies on his Friday to pick. We just moved to the area so finding this little gem was truly a dream come true bc The Senator offers Al the magic of going to the movies. From the box office to the nostalgic candy at the concession booth, The Senator was a hidden secret in Baltmore’s Belvedere district.

The location was within walking distant of Belvedere so this is an ideal spot for a date night with dinner and a movie. The theatre itself boasts historical architecture and kept the classic aesthetic of movie theatre’s from better days. The nostalgic appeal mustered up some wonderful memories for me and it was incredible to share this experience with my son who is growing up in a modern age.

Walking in, you find yourself marveling at the dome of the common space before following your nose to the mouth watering scent of buttery popcorn at the concession booth. The bonus bar in the corner was a pleasant treat for movie goers 21+ to relax and enjoy a movie with an adult beverage.

My son was most fascinated by the restrooms that kept a waiting room with couches. I told him this is how most facilities were designed back in the day. Seeing the wonder and excitement in his eyes and expressions reminded me of how we as a society have become so hyper focused on ourselves that we will miss out on the magic right in front of us.

The Senator Theatre is another charm in the Charm City!

This is a beautiful, old theater fully of friendly people and I want badly to love it, but the projection needs a complete overhaul in every screening room I’ve been in. The picture is just far, far, far too dark, the sound is muddy, and in the last movie I saw the picture didn’t even take up the entire screen, with big black bars all the way around it. Hard to make the case to watch movies in theaters when the presentation is so rough.

A great local art theater that has expanding to a few more popular films. Service is as you would expect, friendly, slow, and inconsistent but a nice experience. Theaters range from big to tiny and are always clean. Concessions is good. Buy tickets in advance and avoid some of the slow ticketing process.

Selection of movies is usually good, art house or independent movies usually. Oscar buzz movies when the time comes. Friendly staff. Funky building, theaters are a bit older as a result. Tends to keep away the cinemark type crowd as a result. Sound is a bit inconsistent. The constant shake down from homeless people has been a major deturing factor for me. I have had more than one aggressive incident with homeless people, and it’s been mostly around the theater, or they start following to my car and staff doesn’t seem to do much about it. One night after a later screening, there was even a homeless lady that was hounding ladies in the restroom.

A wonderful theater with an elegant atmosphere! I came to Center Stage to see Mexodus and ended up enjoying it very much. The entrance opens up to a foyer area where you can either go to the other end to get your tickets or hang out at surrounding seating areas. Center Stage is oriented vertically, so we went up an elevator or stairs to get to the floor with our theater. Each floor has its own mini foyer area with a bar and a spot to take group photos. The only thing that was unnecessary was that masks are required, but they have some there for if needed. Overall, I still give Center Stage 5 stars!

This has been a staple in my passion for supporting the arts over the past decade. As a regular season ticket holder, I can truly attest to the quality of the theatrical productions at Center Stage. And as a DC dweller, I appreciate the ease with which you can find parking near the theater.

What a lovely place to spend a night. The event? It was a celebration for educators, and so this location was selected. Tucked away between a line of buildings, except for the brilliantly-arched lighting and signage, you could easily pass it. However, once you make the deliberate move up the 8 or so steps to the building, the brilliance really shines. You arrive into a lobby reception area that is open and well-laid out. On your right is a little cafe and bar with an opposing open dining area, across from another cool hangout spot.

Above you appears the balcony and entrance to upper seats set by recessed lights and artwork And to your left, and in front, open standing area or picture taking space, with leather-cushioned seats for the fatigued. Once you enter the amphitheater, seats are arranged descending towards the stage. Acoustics were great, setting okay. Only a bit of difficulty with parking because of location.

Still, a lovely and elegant location for any event if you enjoy an evening well spent! For sure, I’ll be back!

Enjoyed the viewing of the penultimate episode of Broad City. The theater is quaint and intimate, making every seat a great seat. A bit strange that I had to show my ticket even to use the bathroom or visit the bar and concession stand. Once my ticket was scanned, showing again didn’t make sense, as you couldn’t access those amenities without a ticket. Just made things a little more difficult for me, personally, as I am a forgetful person!
