A great Sunday morning destination for the family. The stalls have gotten more expensive and less focused on the core competencies of a farmer’s market, but I’ve never regretted taking the time to go. Highly recommend the fresh mini donuts, which are both very nostalgic for me and live up to my memories of them!

Over the years, it’s become a weekly tradition for my husband & I to go to the farmers market under 83bon Sundays. It’s probably my favorite thing about living in Baltimore. We are truly lucky to have it. You can find amazing fresh produce, meats, dairy products etc. here for reasonable prices. The atmosphere is so fun & very family friendly. Be sure to get there early because parking can be a bit crazy now.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Baltimore Farmers Market for the first time this past weekend, and it was an incredible experience. The market features a wide variety of vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a fantastic selection of plants and flowers, also fresh meat and seafood, all at great prices.

The atmosphere was wonderfully welcoming, with friendly and kind people everywhere. One highlight was the food and drinks area, where I enjoyed an extremely delicious and refreshing strawberry lemonade from Little Italy Sausage Co.

The market also caters to families with children. There was a delightful section for kids that included hula hoops and a lively entertainer interacting with them. Additionally, there was another station featuring a man with a drum set and various musical toys, allowing kids to play along to music. It was such a cute idea, and the children were having an absolute blast.

I highly recommend this market, but be sure to arrive early as they close at 12 PM. Don’t forget to bring a bag or basket for your purchases. If you do forget, you can buy one there or get a complimentary bag at the welcome tent.

Always shocked when I come to the farmers market. Like, why don’t I always shop there? Lots of variety. Everything is fresh fresh. Prices are prices so there is that. But the feeling of freshness is there so I appreciate that.

Will definitely make this a weekend tradition.

Nice walkable food market in the Baltimore Inner Harbor/Federal Hill neighborhood. Nice variety of restaurants and great coffee shop. Something for everyone. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Similar to Reading Market in Philly or Chelsea Market in NYC (but smaller than both).

Where are the veggies and fruit? What happened to the farmers market for this Saturday morning (which fell between May and October) at the Cross Street Market. This Cross Street Market farmers market is talked about by major Baltimore touring organizations, magazines and social media sites. Maybe their publications are outdated. If so, then their announcements should be updated.

At 9:00 this Saturday morning it seemed things were just getting started. There were not many people around and no one could provide any information about a highly-touted farmers market. Well, so much for the fruit and veggie inspection and purchase. At the renovated market, a few shops were open and serving breakfast and coffee, but that was just about it. The place was quiet, I remember the hustle, bustle, laughter and people from the good old days.

The building is nicely renovated. There is a noticeable alignment of shops along the side walls of the interior of the building. There are also easily accessible entrance and exit areas. Artwork and signage on the building is pretty. There is tabled seating outside on the side of the building, but I am not sure if it is general seating or for specific shops. There is limited parking around the building and additional parking within walking distance, but pay close attention to parking signs. There were plenty electric scooters available outside. Because it was early morning there was not much traffic. Very pleasant.

What a lovely market! There is a great mix of local produce throughout the summer, along with a scattering of hand made craft items. Custom-made hats, handbags, jewelry, and leather products There are a few “guest” vendor spots every weekend that are filled by a variety of unique entrepreneurs. I really enjoy it year round. Occasionally, there are local musicians. The parking lot is tight, but turnover is fast

Very well organized and many, many vendors. Live music too. Great food and produce options. Local spirits vendors, olives and olive oil, aromatic oils, jewelry, crystals, some clothing, vegetables, herbs and plants galore. The colors alone were a feast for the eyes to behold! Fresh meats, eggs, and cheeses. There was even a pair of sweet baby fainting goats. Places to sit, eat, relax available, and more. This is a must go — support local farmers and entrepreneurs.

Such a cute space! The renovations have really allowed it to shine. Very clean and hip on the inside. there are food stalls inside, outdoor seating, and limited street parking (parallel parking is the main option, streets can be narrow– it’s fells point, so be mindful of that!) great place to walk to if you’re in the area. Prices will range depending on where you choose to eat. Inside, they have Last Slyce, Thai Street, Everest Spice, Connie’s chicken and waffles, and Taharka Brothers. Plenty of options to choose from! I recommend and can’t wait to come back.

I usually love coming to Broadway Market for a bite or two. However, today a friend and I decided to stop inside for a small bite and quick drink after checking out Bmore Flea. After we finished our food, we continued to sit at our table for another hour or so to catch up. Then one of the workers from Sal and Son came up to us and asked us to leave because we weren’t spending anymore money on food and decided to tell us how his establishment “spends over $10k” to rent the building and that because we aren’t buying more food then we’re not welcome. We both pointed out the fact that other tables were empty and there was no crowd, but he stood over us until we left. I’ve never dealt with this before and I didn’t appreciate it. Definitely check out other food courts in Baltimore if you want to feel more welcomed.

I love this place! I shop here at least 1x/wk – the quality of product has never disappointed me.
They have an amazing selection of produce, dairy products, meats, veggies & fruit, CHOCOLATE, frozen foods, juices, condiments, etc., all of which are either organic, vegan (not the meat, duh), gluten free, ethically produced, locally sourced, or any combination.
While they offer an excellent and varied selection, there aren’t so many options that you feel overwhelmed and confused (like at a large grocery store) so making a selection is quick and easy and you know it’s quality.
The owners travel weekly (or more) to ensure the widest variety of the freshest local produce and fruits, and it shows! My favorite are the heads of lettuce with the roots still on – so fresh with so much flavor, and lasts a lot longer than I expect lettuce to last (especially that prepackaged, preservative-treated sh it).
The market brings me some nostalgia as it reminds me so much of the markets I shopped in Northern California.

10/10 highly recommend!!

I’m sorry I discovered this on the last day of the season, but I was able to load up on enough local honey, jam, jelly and salsa to hold me through winter.
