I have used this company before but will never use it again! The driver this morning was straight out of a hip hop video and was a very fast driver. I was afraid I was not going to get to the airport and that I was going to die on the highway! But that is not all! Once I got to the airport he did not accept credit cards because he claimed that the machine wasn’t working. So we had to search for an ATM like we are back in the 1990s so I could give him cash! I will never ride with them again and do not recommend!

Riding with independent taxi is wonderful they are very friendly and nice except one witch it was the last guy who picked me up from John’s Hopkins Bay View Hospital on September 2nd 2024 he was really getting on my nerves asking my sister to find him a white girl to marry him. Then after she told him she doesn’t know anyone he asked her what about her? She said who my sister and he said yes. The driver then asked me over and over again to please marry me and I told him I’m never getting married. He kept telling me I treat me like a queen and I told again no. Then he asked who’s phone did call and I told my sister’s so he wouldn’t try calling me and bother me.

Loved the water taxi! A unique and convenient way to cross the Inner Harbor. It happened to be fleet week so flying shows and events around the harbor. We took it from our hotel to the Rusty Scooper then back so that we could see the rest of the journey around the harbor. Went to their website and bought the tickets online and found the taxi schedule. There’s also a schedule posted by each stop. You pay once per day.

We used the free Interconnector (HC1) to get from Fells Point out to Fort McHenry National Park. The taxi going directly to the fort is temporarily closed, so it was about a 30 minute walk once you get off the taxi. It runs every 15 minutes and is easy on and easy off access and not at all crowded when we went on a Monday midday. The free water taxi runs Monday through Friday but not on weekends.

Very rarely do I ever give a 5 Star rating. I have used Freedom Car several times for local pickup and drop offs. This week was different I had a pickup at my home in Virginia going to Baltimore with a return the following day. Everything went as smooth as could be. The pickup was on time. The 5 hour drive seemed like an hour. The car was clean and comfortable. The driver on my way back home was also great. We talked about many things, jobs, work, travel family, sports and food. It was like a long lost friend and I had just bumped into one another and had a few hours to play catch-up. The 5 hour trip flew by. Rest assured I will not look anywhere else.

The driver started towards airport, took a call, then said he was going to pick up a regular customer going to the airport. I asked if i get a discount for sharing the ride, he said yes. We went 15 minutes out of the way to pick up someone he obviously did not know., and then charged me more than 50% more than lyft from BWI. I expected to pay more than lyft but this was a ripoff, nothing but, and a detour i had not agreed to , barely making it to the airport in time.

Short Version: I will not use this company again.
Positives: I have encountered at least a few drivers who are honest and friendly through this company. One explained that his meter did not work (it was reading $40), and asked what price I have paid in the past. He took my price without question.
Negatives: Of the six times I have used them, four requests for a cab resulted in a wait of more than 45 minutes. The dispatchers have never been rude to me, but they have acted with indifference. I called for a cab at 5:08 pm, leaving from the downtown area, and I was told that a cab would be with me shortly. After 45 minutes I called a competitor. After 20 minutes the competitor had arrived. I called Diamond Cab back, and they said they had just found someone to get me.
Note: All cab drivers are independent contractors. I do not believe the dispatchers have any idea of what cab is in what area. They merely post possible fares, and wait for a contractor to accept.

From the moment I first spoke with Terrell I felt like I was dealing with a VERY professional organization. I received all the detailed contracts electronically. I received text notifications 1 day prior, the morning of, and when the vehicle arrived at the contracted address. ALL of the drivers where prompt and courteous. The vehicles where super clean and comfortable.

The drivers are very rude. This cab was blocking an parking lot entrance at the Sam’s Club on route 40. As I attempted to turn into the lot this cab was blocking the entrance. I honked to get their attention and the woman just looked up at me while eating and ignored me. I had to squeeze around her while worrying about hitting the car. Completely unnecessary and a hazard. If I ever needed a cab I definitely wouldn’t use them. FYI this lady was not using them for a ride.

First off, they lied to me about taking any credit card and wanted cash only. The driver was speeding through traffic which made me feel uncomfortable and not safe. The driver dropped me off at my hotel and demanded I pay cash even though they can take card. The driver was not professional about it and the accepted credit cards was displayed on their window. The driver then said why I haven’t taken a shuttle to the hotel. I’ve never been to this ariport before and I don’t know where everything is at. Seems like he wanted to be lazy and do nothing. Next time I’m in Baltimore, I’m taking an Uber to my next location.

We used the service on arrival at BWI. All went well. On our outbound trip we made a reservation for Sunday at 4:45 PM. We requested our original driver. At 4:45 Sunday with a flight to catch at BWI, no car showed, we called repeatedly. No one answered the phone. We were stuck as no Uber available at that hour and local taxi was 1-1.25 hours out. We resolved on our own and got to the airport.
When booking car services, make sure that you have one that answers their phone and shows up. THIS SERVICE DID NEITHER I’d give 0 stars if possible.
