So this was my first time at the Power Plant. A group of ️ us came for happy hour/ karaoke. We were at the Bait Beer Garden. Now Friday night was very cold and you would think that the establishment would want their customers to be comfortable with dining and enjoying the entertainment. That was far from the truth. Everyone even the staff were walking around with hayt and coats on as they were serving you. That doesn’t give comfortable to me. If your staff isn’t comfortable then they cannot efficiently service your guess properly. So myself and another customer sitting at the bar. Ordered the same thing chicken strips and fries. When our food arrived being delivered by your waitress in a coat and hat. Our food was just as cold as she was. I put in a request of the bartenders to go and get the manager for me. Ms Adriana the manager that was there Friday night cam. Her body language spoke volumes to us. I ask Ms Adrian does she not see how her customers and her staff are so uncomfortable in this environment. Can she possibly close the front doors and turn the heat on. She looked at me with this smug look with a drink in her hand and says. “The heat is on and I cannot control it. It’s completely out of my power I’m sorry” I said I understand you’re telling me it’s on but it’s evident to your customers and your staff that it’s not enough it’s insufficient for the weather we’re having tonight and the door is closed. And I said then where is the consistent cold wind coming from, maybe from the kitchen where my cold food came out of. She walks away as tho I was bothering her. The DJ kept hyper drink make sure you get your drinks. Take care of your bartenders and they’re going to take care of you.! To keep his spot he is going to promote drunkenness because drunk people are unaware of unacceptable customer service and deplorable environments. This establishment gets nothing else from me.

Conveniently downtown, but outside, so weather permitting it’ll be a good time. Sound could use a fine tuning.

Very neat community vibe at this food court. Great indoor and outdoor seating areas to choose from after you make a difficult choice of amazing vendors for something to eat and drink. I couldn’t choose so had a good sampling from two spots.
There was not a ton of parking options, but they do have a small fee lot to check before finding something on the street.

We absolutely LOVE it here!! It’s always so challenging to make a final decision on what type of food you want to eat that moment. It all looks and is amazing!!
This time we went with jambalaya from creole soul restaurant, sushi from Hilo, and the Dominican platter and a wild berry lemonade from Tio G’s.
We shared our meals across the table and ended the meal with mouth watering beignets from creole soul restaurant!
Stop by and indulge in any style meal you wish! The atmosphere is chill and inviting. The people are warm and welcoming. It’s just a fantastic spot all around!!

Excellent Food court and bar concept. Kinda like a food truck court but inside. Plenty of seating inside and out. I think there are 9 different food outlets and a bar with a very good tap selection. Lots of families and a section for kids.
Michael Houlihan

Matt is my favorite bartender in the city! He remembers what I drink, and wonders where I’ve been if he hasn’t seen me. Decent food options…the popup stall always has something interesting. Jazz night and trivia night are fun too.
Sequinta Hill

Loved this place. While visiting from Arizona my friend took me here. A great mix of different, non-chain, food vendors. Kinda like a mall food court, but GOOD. I ended up with some excellent pizza and my friend had a delish protein bowl. The space is def more on the cold & modern industrial side of design. Everything was clean. There is a variety of different seating areas, accommodating everything from a couple, to a group.

Very nice venue! Staff members were all very courteous and friendly. Generally-decent view of the stage from all parts of the room, with a few obstructive columns you need to take note off. Good sound quality throughout.
Bar service was quick and easy. Three bars were open for walk-up service. Saw wait staff with tray of drinks probably for the few tables available (if you get there early enough). There was a ‘food window’ with limited menu of ‘fun foods’ (franks, nachos, etc). Restrooms are clearly marked and spacious. Some ADA seating available.
Parking within easy walking distance was convenient in a garage on the diagonal street corner (prepay with app online for a remarkably easy entrance and exit to park).
First time here, and I recommend this venue for concerts and will be happy to return to see other performances.

I’ve only seen a handful of shows at the Soundstage, but I always have a good time there. This night had me seeing my good friends Drug Church for the 8th time in 6 years. You can’t beat a Drug Church show. They are akways a blast. Friendly bar staff & good sound. Recommended!

Great drinks and great atmosphere! I used to go to a hole in the Wall bar for small college rock shows back in Kentucky and this made me feel like I was right back there in my home bar. It’s standing room which I prefer over having to scramble for a good seat and the energy is fantastic. There’s a clear view of the stage from almost anywhere in the bar. The food menu also was super tempting my friend had some things but I didn’t get anything.
Alex Hex

This venue has very poor and illegal ADA accommodations. They also will not return emails.
The ADA accommodation seating requires people to walk up steps. This is illegal. And puts them with very little visibility of the stage. It also very much limits option for using restroom due to stairs. The venue finds it acceptable to charge disabled people $40 per seat to utilize the seating next to the stage so they can actually see the performance.
Please contact this venue and complain if you need accessible seating.
The restrooms are always terrible. Toilets clogged constantly and nothing gets restocked during an event.
Its sad. This venue has great sound and stage. Just sucks at everything else.
Ryan Connor

Came Wednesday for the Citizen soldier concert. Best concert of my life. Only downfall was $14.50 for a beer and an hour wait for food. I understand was 1000 spectators but should find a way to decrease the food time with maybe better prep. But overall great experience. Will be back

Fantastic atmosphere and service. We stepped in just to take in the vibe and ended up sticking around for a while thanks to the awesome staff. Live music, Ravens game on the tv, and multiple areas with varying aesthetics. Food portions are a little small for the price, but otherwise this place is perfect. Our new favorite bar in the entire Fells/Canton area.

Have been wanting to come here for a couple of years, and happy I finally stopped in. The place is very clean, spacious, and AWESOME drinks. I think the stools are creative and comfortable; just maybe a bit dangerous if hammered! Food portion is decent, tasted fresh and nice I shall return, and it will not be in years or months… it shall be much sooner.

Live music all day and night. It was very quiet during the early afternoon, but very pleasant and entertaining. The cocktails were fantastic. I will try the food on my next visit. They do have merch to purchase. Cool hats and T shirts. Can’t wait to go back again.

Visited on Sunday afternoon of Fells Point Fun Fest, 10/6/24. Had a few beers, chips & salsa. Was Poe there that same night 175 years ago – the night before his untimely death?

Amazing record store with killer inventory, friendly service and good prices. I easily spent over two hours digging.
I was most impressed with their Jazz selections, but overall, I walked away with a little bit of everything.
This is also where Record Store Day began in 2007!
Jim Darrell

Sound Garden is great record store – one of the best I’ve ever been to and certainly the best in Baltimore! The selection changes fast and there is always something to find (just takes some searching). If you’re new in town and a fan of music, make sure to stop by! It’s also a great place to sell your unwanted records, they don’t pay “top dollar,” but if you’re willing to do a trade they’ll throw in extra. If you’re a vinyl fanatic, go today

I just had an outstanding online experience with them via their Amazon store. Their customer service communication was very friendly and so.accurately detailed. They were quick to reply to my questions. When the item arrived it came quickly and was securely packaged professionally with thank you card and sticker inside. Item was in better shape than promised. They did not try to price gouge the price on a collectable out of print item as many sellers on auction and sake sites do. As a result I got a long sought item at a reasonable price. Thank you for making my Christmas. They are an A plus place to shop.
charles miller

Incredible selection at a pretty average price. They literally have everything. Definitely worth a visit
Colby Lucas

I love this store. I found it the first time I visited Baltimore back in 2010 and visit every time I am in the city. Great selection, very friendly staff and good prices. I picked up a few rarities this time that I have never seen before, including a rare Neil Young “grey area” CD boxed set for a fraction of the Discogs median price for it and an amazing Bardo Pond 2LP set for $15! The staff was very helpful too when I inquired about some Record Store Day titles that never made it to Canada as well. I wish this store was closer than a seven hour drive away!

It was an amazing experience visiting the Ottobar. Coming from out of town I didn’t know what to expect and they definitely have done an awesome job keeping the punk scene alive and well in the Baltimore area

Came here from Jersey for the Indigo De Souza concert and it was amazing!! The venue was small and intimate and everyone who works here is so sweet! Our bartender Grant was very efficient and kind! Made the best drinks all night! Also shoutout to Randy (stage name “Candy”) for also having such great energy! Overall, the entire experience was memorable, comfortable, and easy-going. Highly recommend for a chill and exciting night out! The music in the bar/club upstairs was fire and the vibe was perfect! Whether you are in town or from out-of-town definitely check this place out!!!

One of my favorite show venues in Baltimore!
It has that proper divey feel that makes every show feel way more intimate.
The drink prices aren’t absurd as well

My husband purchased tickets for a concert at this venue. I am 5 months pregnant and I was sad that I probably wouldn’t be able to go, because I wouldn’t have a place to sit. I reached out to Otto Bar to see if they could accommodate me with a seat so I could go and enjoy the show. They so graciously told me they’d be more than happy to accommodate me with a table and chairs not only for me but for my husband, too!! It literally was the best seat in the house and we enjoyed ourselves!!! Thank you so much Ottobar!!! We will be back!

We came here for dinner and a show and we loved it! We got seated right away. The menu was good with plenty of food and drink options. Our server was very attentive and took care of us. Food came fast and was delicious. The atmosphere was lively and the act for the night had everyone clapping. We’ll definitely come here to see more shows again in the future. I definitely recommend checking thos spot out if in Baltimore. Get tickets ahead of time for the show.

After disappointing food (salmon & catch of the day) but incredible music on our last visit, we’ve decided to stick to the simple burgers. It was absolutely the right choice—the meat was juicy, and the fries were crispy. It was also reasonably priced! We had a great view of the stage, which elevated the experience even more. The atmosphere, the clientele, and the musicians were just amazing as usual. Keystone Korner is a must-visit for any jazz lover in the city. Just make sure to get a seat with a good view (many seats don’t) and stay away from their fish dishes.

I came here on my birthday, and it was everything I knew it would be and more. It was nice to get there early to order my food and drinks. I didn’t realize there would be other people at our table, but they made us aware as soon as we got to there. We know how to purchase our tickets now if we want to sit alone. There was a 2 item minimum per person. We paid for premium seats so we were close enough to the stage. I has some type of punch which was strong but tasted good so it was well made. I ordered Salmon, it was pretty good. The wings were delicious and the Brussel sprouts were sooooo good. Hunter was my server and she made sure I had a good time for birthday and I appreciate that. Oh and let me not forget to mention the butter cake if you have room for desert that’s the one for you. Jeanette Harris’s performance but top tier, she walked around playing the sax, she stayed after for picture opportunities. It was just a beautiful evening and I can’t wait to come back

Wonderful upscale atmosphere. Food was fantastic and worth every cent! Our server was the kindest and most helpful ! Entertainment was absolutely amazing! Purchased event tickets prior to arriving and was such an effortless check-in!

This jazz club in Baltimore’s Harbor East is excellent. They bring in well-known and local artists. There is a touch of elegance and class to the establishment yet it also has a casual vibe as well. There was a local band playing and some of the musicians were students from Peabody. The food was good and hot the spot and a decent selection of drinks. If a fan of Jazz highly recommended.

It’s a gorgeous spot with really unique cocktails that are reasonably priced and the food is great. Rarely do I walk away from a meal unsure of which plate was the star of the show but everything was equally awesome and our server was so sweet. Put this in your date night rotation!

I visited the Bluebird Cocktail Room (Green Room, specifically) to see the local Django Jam and loved it. The Green Room is the perfect size for an intimate jazz session. I’ve enjoyed all the drinks and the service is cool. I highly recommend a visit on Monday night if you want to travel back in time (in a good way).

Oh! Oh, this place is super cute and sexy. It’s giving speak-easy with modern vibes and sophisticated nuance. I loved it here! We visited for my BFF’s hubby birthday, and they ordered ABSINTHE. I was tripping out because I know how strong that stuff is, and the way it was prepared was old-school and super nice! I like it a whole lot. I am a sucker for a well decorated, finely curated dining and/or drinking experience, and this was that! 10/10, and I’ve taken a date or two here since…. Let’s just say they loved it!!!
Mylea Holman

Love this bar!
The bar is located on the second floor. They have 3 swings outside to sit on and enjoy.
The bar is so pretty and cozy. It gives vintage vibe. It had a bar section and table sections. They also have a fireplace with big seats around it.
The bar menu is inspired by classic literature. I really like reading through the menu. I ordered pulp and bone which was whiskey with applce cider, cinnamon and maple. It was strong but very good. I also tasted some other menu that has chai. It was good too.
We ordered carrot cake and it was good too. It had some fruit chunk inside which was good.
It was not cheap, but I really like the vibe and drinks. I highly recommend this place.

I love books so going to a literary themed bar was perfect for me. My friend and I stopped here after dinner down the street so only had drinks. The server helped us figure out what cocktails were best to get based on what we liked to drink. I ended up getting the vessel to hell. They light it on fire! Very cool drink to look at and even better to drink! Highly recommend checking this place out.

Local restaurant serving seafood. The crab dishes were fantastic especially the grab cakes. The chocolate chip pie was really good too. The seafood is a little pricier than other local entrees but worth the difference.
Gail Hicks

crab cake looked good but overly salty. No crab flavor. Felt like eating spoon full of salt. Fried oysters were also unpleasantly very salty. The soup was cold. Waitress gave us expired hot sauce. Live music was annoyingly loud. Overall, overpriced for a not so great dining experience.

Best mussels ever!!!!!
Sometimes a place gets recommended to you by friends and family. I did an internet search and Berthas popped up. It’s an older establishment and has been around for a while. I got several recommendations to this restaurant. I have to say I understand why. The mussels are out of this world.
While on vacation I stopped by for one of my favorite dishes ( mussels ). We sat at the bar and had some drinks. I think we ordered 4 different bowls of mussels. Each serving got better and better. I finally had to stop eating because i was stuffed. The mussels are delicious and tasty. The staff was friendly and eager to help. I highly recommend this place. I make it a point now to visit Berthas every time I travel to Baltimore or Dc area. Totally worth the trip.
Vil Ramirez

Loved the dive bar vibe with good cocktail drinks and food to go with it. They have $21 mussel deal with fries. It is enough mussels to feed 3 people but I had it with two and we were full. The The lavender haze cocktail was delicious.
Jamie Armshaw

Absolutely delicious food and drinks here! We loved the seafood steam pot, it was a 10 out of 10!!! The deviled eggs were straight fire! And the drinks… so much yaaasssssss! On top of great food and drink, they had a great guitarist playing. As if that wasn’t enough, we even saw Lizzo!!! Amazing! We will be back!!!!

I first came here in 2008, while I was staying in Baltimore for a month for a work project. It quickly became my favorite place. Whenever I stop in Baltimore now, I come here to check out a band. Great place, great vibe great music, and great employees! You can tell that Morgan really cares about the place and the people that work there! A hidden gem for sure!

Some of the depictions of this place are disingenuous, bordering on thinking that it’s some sort of sleaze joint.. it’s not. That would be the Mount Royal Tavern
Is Cats Eye packed? Yes it is
Is the music always good? Yes it is
And the music starts early and ends late… One of the few places down there that still does that.
I might note, and could be wrong – but I believe this establishment location is the oldest tavern in Baltimore / Fells point.
Humorously, it is noted that many barks and brigantines were built in Fells Point that actually became the terror of the Caribbean several hundred years ago, when England and France were at it.
Yep.
We here in Baltimore? We are the original Pirates of the Caribbean
And yes, I do honestly believe that there are ghosts in Fells Point…
J Stevens (Fearless Patience)

Great atmosphere. Didn’t realize it was an Irish pub. Loved the hanging Galleon. Only issue was no lock on the tiny men’s bathroom.
