I love this shop, inside and out. The store inside is stocked full of really great books and I am never disappointed with the books that staff recommend in their little notes posted on the shelves. Those staff picks introduced me to authors and books I would never have looked at on my own. As for the outside, who doesn't want to sit outside and read in a yard frequented by rabbits, foxes and deer?

My bf and I rushed here for a birthday gift only an hour before the party. The building? Beautiful. The staff? Helpful, kind etc etc. The books? A plenty.
I highly recommend coming to this store if you need to purchase a book. The staff suggestions on the shelves are a great touch. They had a good amount of space in the store dedicated to children’s literature as well. Lizzie was amazing! Shout out to her ! Great energy all around. I’m only shopping local or thrifting when purchasing books now 🙂

This bookshop is as good as it gets- beautiful outdoor space you can bring food to and there are picnic tables. There's a storybook walk for kids. The inside is beautiful. The employees are helpful and not pushy. I was feeling sort of down today for no clear reason. Went in, enjoyed the indie music and atmosphere, got a new book and left with better spirits.

This is a lovely, cozy bookstore with very knowledgeable staff and a warm, tranquil ambience.
When we entered the bookstore, a few fellow readers were at the billing desk, talking about ‘Braiding Sweetgrass’ and the bookseller had an additional, detailed recommendation for a similar, older, (and what sounded like a) beautiful book, ‘A Sand County Almanac’ by Aldo Leopold. He placed it in context and told its story so well, I was inspired to get the book (they didn’t have it in stock, so elsewhere). I really appreciate such bibliophilic conversations and was particularly happy I was witness to this one.
The only danger here is getting lost in the stacks once you enter. Definitely one of the nicest bookstores I’ve been to in the US!
