DIAMOND CAB

Drivers are horrendous. Rude and create dangerous situations on the road. Drivers on 95 doing 35mph giving the finger to anyone going around him. 11.18.24 1132am

The driver started towards airport, took a call, then said he was going to pick up a regular customer going to the airport. I asked if i get a discount for sharing the ride, he said yes. We went 15 minutes out of the way to pick up someone he obviously did not know., and then charged me more than 50% more than lyft from BWI. I expected to pay more than lyft but this was a ripoff, nothing but, and a detour i had not agreed to , barely making it to the airport in time.

Add a very bad experience with diamond. I tried reporting to someone gets going around and around and around nobody wants to take my complaint and the cab driver told me if I didn't like the ride that I can get it

Fast and friendly. I am going to try them on the am from towson and see how they do.

Short Version: I will not use this company again.
Positives: I have encountered at least a few drivers who are honest and friendly through this company. One explained that his meter did not work (it was reading $40), and asked what price I have paid in the past. He took my price without question.
Negatives: Of the six times I have used them, four requests for a cab resulted in a wait of more than 45 minutes. The dispatchers have never been rude to me, but they have acted with indifference. I called for a cab at 5:08 pm, leaving from the downtown area, and I was told that a cab would be with me shortly. After 45 minutes I called a competitor. After 20 minutes the competitor had arrived. I called Diamond Cab back, and they said they had just found someone to get me.
Note: All cab drivers are independent contractors. I do not believe the dispatchers have any idea of what cab is in what area. They merely post possible fares, and wait for a contractor to accept.
