Customer Reviews

I visited this store today and observed a Quaker parrot in a cage that is far too small and did not contain a single toy for the parrot to play with. Additionally, the parrot is on display inside a flea market, exposed to fumes from burning incense, perfume, and essential oil diffusers all over the place. Standing in front of the pet store, you can smell nothing but incense, perfume, and essential oil. Owner, do you know this is killing the parrot you're trying to sell? This is not a joke. Do you know how sensitive parrots' respiratory systems are? Google it. Your search results will confirm that these fumes are deadly to parrots. Move the parrot out of the flea market and into a HEPA-filtered environment. Put the parrot in a much larger cage and add a few toys ffs
Response to owner Edit:
No, you are not far from the sources of fumes. Your entire pet store (pet booth) smells like incense and perfume. This is harming your birds. Go stand in front of your flea market booth and smell it for yourself. Your parrots are not dogs. Parrots require air free of harmful fumes. If you think the flea market air is safe, you're wrong.
You’ve been keeping that poor baby stuffed in that tiny cage, with zero toys, for months? Wow. Any parrot owner can see how terrified and stressed out that bird is. No knowledgeable parrot owner, let alone anybody in their right mind, would ever agree that keeping parrots in a flea market, in a tiny cage, without toys, and exposed to harmful fumes is acceptable. Let's have an open discussion about this over on Reddit/r/parrots. Let's see what other people say about the conditions you keep your birds in.
Edit: Additionally, your pet booth is next to the food court. Do you know what is released into the air when nonstick cookware gets hot? Did you know it doesn't always immediately kill a bird, but it can slowly kill them and cause permanent damage? Do you think keeping a parrot near multiple indoor kitchens is safe?
Edit: You're a business owner, not an animal expert. And that's fine. But consider the reason why Maryland's Animal Welfare Law prohibits you from selling cats and dogs from your flea market booth. Why do you think this law was passed? Because flea markets are not suitable environments for animals, especially parrots.
Let's take all assumptions away and stick to the facts. You're selling parrots crammed into cages that are way too small for them, inside a flea market full of fumes from nearby sources, including burning incense, essential oil diffusers, perfume shops, and kitchens. You have no air filtration in place at all, and your parrots have no toys.
You need to do better. How about moving the parrots into your store, which is in a separate building, and putting a TV in the flea market booth, live streaming them? Hang a sign in front of your live stream that says, "Parrots for sale next door." This would solve all the problems, assuming you actually have toys and suitable cages at the location outside of the flea market
It's super easy and inexpensive to do something like this.

On 9/12/21 visit the pet store where I purchased a sling for my fur gbaby. She didn’t stay in it after I walked away. So I came back to pay the difference for a stroller she didn’t have any, so I was willing to take a loss in the price difference to purchase the backpack. I was very unsatisfied.

Don't get into the reptile game if you aren't knowledgeable of it. you are THE ONLY place that will not exchange feeders. Snakes are finicky eaters, you acted like this was something new. The very first visit in store I asked if this would be an issue and was assured, "of course, no problem" then when I unfortunately have to, you won't. My business will be elsewhere from here on out and I will no longer support this small business or recommend this place.

This store has everything I need for all of my pets. I have a dog, cat, two turtles and a fish. The only downside, which is not the store problem, is they sometimes do not have crickets which my turtles love. Their supplier sometimes can’t make it so I end up having to go somewhere else. But anything I can think of for my pet they have. And things I didn’t know I needed.
