Apex Counseling Center, LLC

I've been trying to update my insurance for over four months now. I've been told it'd be updated twice. I've called repeatedly, always getting the answering machine, and my messages are never returned. I've texted (and received false assurances). I've emailed (got no reply). I've tried to visit the location in person during business hours (building was locked).
Is this business even a business? I'm not paying if you're not going to submit to the correct insurance.
Update: It turns out that their phone number listed on Maps, their website, and their invoices is for their physical office, which is not monitored. The voicemail is supposed to be monitored, but isn't, apparently. I submitted an update request for this Map listing's phone number, so we'll see if that takes.

I love Apex Counseling Center! The staff is very respectful, kind, and understanding. They are very welcoming and has made me feel comfortable since my first appointment. I feel like everyone I see on a regular basis makes me feel like they HONESTLY care about me and other patients. I don't feel like it's all about money with Apex, I feel like they actually care about my well-being. They have my best interest at heart. I feel that everyone there actually cares and encourages me to get better and do better The women at the front desk are always so kind and sweet, especially Ingrid. Dr. Astrada is very patient and understanding. He listens to how you feel, and he makes me feel like he actually cares. My therapist is Jeffrey. He is the best therapist I have ever had. He is very respectful. He always knows just what to say. He always has me to look at things from different perspectives. He offers great suggestions. He gives me great techniques and exercises for me to practice to help with my anxiety and other things I go through. And they work. I was very depressed when I first seen Jeffrey, he has help me to get through that dark time and come out stronger. I have made more progress in the past year since I have been going to apex, and have sessions with Jeffrey, than I have in my 31 years. I put the work in to change my life, but Jeffrey has encouraged me the whole way. Jeffrey encourages me to follow my dreams, and helps me to attain my goals. I am truly grateful for Apex and the staff that God placed in my life to help me change my life. I would and do recommend Apex to everyone, family and friends. If Apex Counseling can help me change my life, then I know they can help anyone change their life.

Apex Counseling and especially Dr. Jeffrey have been a huge help in my life. They did a great job of getting me an appointment and therapist as fast as possible. It was extremely obvious they want to make sure their clients are taken care of.
Dr. Jeffrey was given my case, something I feel very lucky about. Every appointment he gives new perspectives and connects the dots on how to improve my life. Furthermore, he's very relatable and knows things are hard but helps you find ways they can get better. I feel like the techniques he gives me are ones I can take with me for the rest of my life.

My daughter started seeing Jeff as our family was entering into a seperation period. My fear was that she would have a hard time opening up but that was laid to rest immediately. Jeff was able to get her to open up and he also taught her ways to handle her emotions in a healthy way which was life changing. I'm very appreciative of Apex and Jeff specifically for helping our family. I highly recommend Jeff to work with children who may be suffering from depression and anxiety.

I really enjoy working with Jeff. I've been seeing therapist almost my whole life. I like the way Jeff breaks things down and explains things to me. I look forward to each session because I feel he does help me with the new coping skills and stuff he showed me to deal with my stress. I would definitely recommend him.
