Omg everything was perfect. From the moment we walked in to the bar side of the restaurant. Everyone was so attentive and our server, Evan was so kind kept our drinks filled too. The food was delicious. We ordered the famous nachos and they also have a seasonal menu on the seasonal menu. We ordered the drunken crab balls and they were absolutely delicious. Service was amazing , the food was as well as the atmosphere. They played Holiday music the entire time and the army Navy game was on and we really enjoyed ourselves

Milly and Bre were fantastic! Excellent bartenders with exceptional professionalism! Also, funny and personable.
The food was incredible! I got the full lobster , crab cakes, sampler oysters, and half dozen of crabs! It was all amazing! The drinks were on point, too!

**Service:**
We initially tried to make a reservation at Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, but they didn’t allow it over the phone, requiring payment online instead, which was a bit frustrating. In the end, we decided to just walk in and were seated in the bar/lounge area, which was fine. After being seated, our waiter shared some menu favorites but then disappeared for about 15 minutes. We eventually had to ask another waiter to get her, which was not ideal. Throughout the meal, she barely checked in on us, leaving the other waitstaff to help with most of our needs. The lack of attention really stood out, especially with the automatic gratuity.

**Taste:**
For food, we ordered fries, calamari, crab cakes, and the crab mac and cheese. The fries and calamari were delicious, perfectly crispy and seasoned. The crab cakes were also good, full of flavor and what you’d expect from a place known for seafood. However, the crab mac and cheese was disappointing—tasted rushed, the cheese wasn’t fresh, and it had a very processed Velveeta-like flavor, which didn’t live up to the rest of the meal.

**Ambiance:**
The bar/lounge area was comfortable enough, and while the restaurant wasn’t too busy, the service didn’t quite match the environment. It’s a casual spot, with a decent crowd and easy parking, which was a plus.

**Recommendation:**
While the food was mostly good, the experience was underwhelming. The automatic 18% gratuity and $3 service fee were off-putting, especially considering the lackluster service. It explains why our server didn’t seem invested, as the tip was guaranteed. It’s a bit overpriced given the other seafood options in town, but it’s convenient with free parking. I probably won’t return, but if you’re out of other options, it’s not a bad stop—just be prepared for the extra charges.

I ordered the weeknight special, featuring a stuffed lobster tail as the main course, cream of mushroom soup, and banana pudding for dessert. The lobster was cooked to perfection, and the soup was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The banana pudding was the perfect finish. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

This was our first visit and we were absolutely blown away by the amazing food quality, large portion sizes, outstanding service and beautiful holiday decorations! Raine (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was our server and she was just lovely! What a tremendous overall experience! Highly recommended visiting…we’re already planning our next dining experience!

I ordered trio of lobster, scallop and haddock in a bed of asparagus and mash potato. The seafood cooked perfectly. Asparagus was crunchy not overcooked.
My husband ordered steak crab cakes. The steak was good quality meat and cooked medium rare just as he wanted. Crab cake not the best, I had better one.
The waitress so pleasant and professional . At the end we agreed didn’t mind paid somewhat pricey food if they were that good.

Awesome place to eat if you’re in the area. The food was fantastic. The server we had was also an amazing guy. Atmosphere was great it is on the harbor has outdoor seat, has a dock area seating and outdoor kitchen also has a nice indoor restaurant too. We sat in the bar area and had a great time. There was also a fella playing live music.

We had a lovely experience and had a wonderful server by the name of Katie. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the options I was stuck on. I had the Seafood Trio and my son had the soft crab sandwich along with the Grilled Shrimp and Scallops. Almost forgot we had an appetizer and the name slipped my mind. It was a rice ball with Mozzarella and crab. Also, so very yummy. Such a cool place. Will definitely hit this place up again when in the area Thank You again Katie for talking us into dessert

My husband and I decided to stop by after visiting the aquarium since it’s right across the street and had a great experience! Our waitress, Ruby, was absolutely AMAZING and so attentive. She gave great recommendations, including the pictured Steamed Captain’s Bucket, and consistently came to check on us and refill our drinks.

My only complaint is that some of the items at the bottom of our meal such as the potatoes and clams/mussels were a little cold. The crab, corn and lobster tasted fresh and warm though! Would definitely come back and order this again!

We had a quick lunch here the day after Thanksgiving. We had the unique soft pretzel stuffed with crab, Maryland gumbo and the half and half cream of crab soup with Maryland crab soup. The pretzel was very good and both soups were excellent. We had hot coffee that was dissatisfying, old and bitter. Service was very good and our table had a nice view of part of the bay. The pretzel is big and we shared it. The soups decent sized so this was more than enough for us for lunch.

Excellent across the board. Our server (James?) was terrific – very welcoming & attentive. Service was fast even while it was busy on a Saturday afternoon. The food was fantastic – highly recommend the crap dip (enough for 5 people to share), the crab cake sandwich, and the orange crush. Outdoor seating cannot be beat on a nice day.

We stopped by for the first time on my birthday and Ashley was our waitress. She delivered impeccable customer service and was prompt and courteous. The crabs were fresh, flavorful, and meaty. The honey old bay wings were delicious and the crab cakes, to die for! Oh and make sure you get bang bang shrimp, they’re fresh and delicious! We traveled from NY but can’t wait to come back! If I could give 10 stars I would!

It’s an updated review. The last reviews were ok and very good, but now they’re more than good; it’s excellent! The first time I was here was years ago. We’ve been coming since then. I returned with Hubby to get our favorite crabs with hammer LOL this time. Josh, our waiter, served us lunch. It was busy at the time due to lunchtime. We had two types of soup, the mixed and the crab soup. I loved the crab soup better than the one Hubby had, which was creamy and mixed with crab soup.

We ordered the crabs. I lost count! We also had some fish tacos and shrimp. Everything we had was excellent. The service from Josh was also outstanding. The crabs and food were yummy! I can’t believe how much I missed coming here, but just coming here and eating crabs is not easy. We’ll be back when we pass by Baltimore or if I follow Hubby again. The restaurant is by the water, so we simultaneously have the views and good food. It’s such a prominent place, inside and outside. Even the bar section is enormous. The crabs were delicious. The way they were prepared was the winner! We get the flavor of the crabs and the seasoning in one bite. Try it!

What a beautiful restaurant with panoramic harbor view, rusty interior decor and comfortable atmosphere.

We enjoyed everything we ordered from crab appetizer, oysters, tuna appetizer, to steak dinner, crab cakes, scallop with crab meat and pasta. Seafood were fresh. Seasonings were on point. And top notch service.

We enjoyed our dining experience very much and will certainly return. Highly recommended by @WineDinenVacay

As for parking, they have a paid garage for this restaurant as you are getting to the restaurant.

We eat here every time we are in Baltimore & it is an amazing seafood restaurant! It’s right on the harbor & has amazing views! The service was excellent! We ordered oysters for appetizers which were the absolute best we’ve ever had! We had the Baltimore fish fry & the scallops for our meals and both were phenomenal! The restaurant is close to everything & was within walking distance from our hotel. We love it there!

On a visit to Baltimore to see my cousin, we decided to eat here. My cousin had not been to the restaurant in several years and it was my first time.

The crab dip was very filling and flavorful! I really enjoyed the calamari. It was flash fried so you could still taste the great flavor of the fish. I also had the lump crab fettuccine. It was full of crab and had some great tasting and complex flavors.

Our server, Myra, was so sweet and made great suggestions and had great service overall. We cannot wait to return for the live Jazz band!

Great food, incredible service! Don’ta our server was one of the best servers I’ve seen in a long time. He was welcoming, gave great recommendations and was fun to talk to. The food was amazing. Can’t go wrong with any of the seafood on the menu. Get anything that has crab. Big portions too! Would come back!

Hands down theee best crab cakes I’ve ever had!! We were in town for the Usher concert and decided on this restaurant.

The food was absolutely delicious and fresh, each staff member we encountered was pleasant and professional. There was a slight mix up on a food substitution item (due to a food allergy), but the server immediately and apologetically corrected the issue with no push back or attitude. The kitchen manager even came to the table to ensure all was good.

I’ll ABSOLUTELY be back when back in town!

Mo’s Seafood Restaurant in Baltimore is an exceptional spot for anyone looking to enjoy the finest seafood Maryland has to offer! From the moment I arrived, I was thrilled with the experience. The seafood is fresh, flavorful, and prepared to perfection—every dish we ordered was outstanding. I chose the crab cake with scallops, loaded potato, and asparagus, and each bite was better than the last. Kudos to our server, Carlos, for his outstanding service and professionalism, making the experience even more enjoyable.

One unique perk Mo’s offers is complimentary pickup and drop-off from downtown hotels—talk about convenience! It’s a fantastic option for anyone staying nearby. For unbeatable seafood and an overall wonderful dining experience, I highly recommend Mo’s Seafood Restaurant. Baltimore has a true gem here!

Ginedy McIntosh

The crab cake is impressively large, generously packed with flaky, tender crab meat. Its exterior has a perfect golden-brown crust, providing a satisfying crunch before giving way to the rich, succulent interior. The seasoning is well-balanced, enhancing the natural sweetness of the crab. The accompanying sauce complements the dish beautifully, adding a creamy, slightly tangy note that elevates the flavors.

As for the scallops, there are plenty on the plate, but they lack the freshness that would bring out their full flavor. They’re adequately cooked, but without the vibrant, briny taste that truly fresh scallops should have.

Nonetheless, they pair well with the buttery sauce and the fresh, crisp asparagus, making for an overall pleasant, though not extraordinary, meal.

In town for a Birthday and we wanted some of that famous Baltimore Seafood. We decided to hit up Mo’s seafood. Guess what, they have a shuttle that picked us up from the hotel. How cool is that?? Get to the restaurant and we are immediately seated upstairs. The decor is dated and not fancy.

The wait staff really made the place stand out. Christina immediately bonded with my daughter and made her Birthday dinner extremely special. THANK YOU!! Our server Chiheb, was very knowledgeable about the menu and the portion sizes, flavors and anything else we questioned. He was also really attentive to our needs and our cups never ran empty.

The food was pretty good all around. I got the Blackened Grilled Chicken Alfredo (I’m not a seafood person) and that Alfredo was some of the best I’ve ever had. The Blackend seasoning on the Chicken wasn’t my fav, but that pasta was niiiiiice.

My wife got the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake (shes the seafood lover in the group) with Shrimp. She LOVED it. But warning…. IT IS A LOT OF FOOD!!! She also got her shrimp Blackened and enjoyed it.

I did NOT like the fact that they charge an additional $3.50 each to have the chicken AND the shrimp blackened. I just didn’t see the need to charge for that.

Overall we enjoyed our visit.

I had the broiled salmon, because unfortunately for my life, I am allergic to shellfish. It was delicious and HUGE, I think I got three meals out of it total. We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Angie’s Seafood! Our group of 14 adults and 2 babies was warmly welcomed, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Melissa, our waitress, was phenomenal—she made sure everyone was satisfied and comfortable throughout the evening. Ronica, the bartender, created a custom drink for our group that was fabulous and added such a personal touch. To top it all off, Angie, the owner, came out to greet us and lend her own touch of hospitality, making us feel truly valued as guests.

The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend Angie’s Seafood for any occasion, whether it’s an intimate dinner or a large gathering. We will definitely be back!

Stopped here after snowboarding in PA on the way home to DC. Gabby was a wonderful server who helped us decide the best picks on the massive menu. She also made suggestions that helped us decrease salt/fat, which we greatly appreciated. Every dish was freshly prepared, with amazing flavors. The value for $ is obvious. Please take note that the automatic gratuity they have on the check is only 15%, although the service is top notch. Take care of your wonderful servers here!

Angie’s Seafood is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while! The food? Absolutely the bomb! I ordered the stuffed shrimp, and my husband went for the crab cakes. Both were perfectly seasoned, fresh, and beyond satisfying.

We started with the table appetizer, which was a hit! From the wings to the crab dip, every bite was delicious and left us excited for the main course.

Shoutout to our waiter (I think his name starts with an A?). He was amazing! Attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed.

If you’re craving incredible seafood and top-tier service, Angie’s is the place to be! Highly recommend!

My hubby picked this place to try based on reviews and it did not disappoint. Our fabulous waiter , Steve, suggested the crab cake and calamari. We tried both. The calamari crust was great and the calamari was tender. The crab cake was very large and had huge chunks of crab and very little filler. The red snapper was seasoned beautifully. My dirty martini was one of the best I have ever had. My son said the cheesecake was a 8/10 . My hubby had the stuff shrimp was very good and the crab in it was great. The tip is included in your bill and is about 21% which is fine because we usually tip at least that anyway. A definite recommendation!

We arrived at the evening time and it was packed with people with long lines outside. The tables and seats were really packed so it was not really a comfortable place to eat. The seafood was of really good quality and to be honest we enjoyed the scallops and lobsters much more than the crabs as the crabs were just average. The staff was so busy that you had to really make up your mind quick before your order your food.

Fun dining experience checking out LP Steamers. Our waitress Jess was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. We ordered a variety of items including the hush puppies, steamed crabs, and crab cakes. The steamed crabs were a memorable experience but more trouble than they are worth. The crab cake was out of this world. Our waitress suggested ordering it broiled and we are glad we listened. Cool ambiance in the restaurant as well and great vibe!

We came here about an hour before closing and they managed to seat us quickly, though we were the last table to leave. If you want an authentic MD crab experience, this is it. You can choose between several different sizes of crab. We also got fries and wings to start, but the crabs were obviously the highlight. The staff was so much fun and made sure to give us a quick tutorial on how to deshell the crab.

The food was really good and they have specials on different days of the week. At the time of this post, half price steamed shrimp on Wednesdays. That’s $10 for 1pound of shrimp.

It was so good. The staff were kind and enjoyed all of the patrons. The restaurant had a surprisingly high amount of seating on the second floor. There was a good amount of street parking. All in all, it was a great spot!

Been to Steamers for the second time now, visiting a friend. I’ve also been to other seafood places downtown. This place is THE best! Reasonable prices, quite possibly better than anywhere, the freshest seafood I’ve had in Baltimore, and tons of options with a great old historic/East coast atmosphere. I will go back every time and sit on the rooftop for as many crabs as I can eat with a good beer!

I’ve been to Captain James multiple times over the years. Honestly, it hits every time. They have an amazing Groupon thats well worth it. This time I had the amazingly delicious crab dip like I always do. I tried shark tacos for the first time which were very yummy and flavorful and I had a cheesesteak. This cheesesteak was a high quality cheesesteak with plenty of meat. Also, I had the cream of crab, which I did not get a picture of, but even the soup was yum. My favorite part of the whole meal was the fresh apple crumble. It took about 10 minutes to make but boy was it so darn yummy. I’m actually still thinking about it. The inside of the place is relatively small, but it’s cozy and customer service has always been A1. I knew it might be busy so I made a reservation online and when I came in, I had to wait all of five minutes and I will see it at a booth like I requested! I will always come back. The food and experience are worth it. Thank you, Captain James!

First time visiting this restaurant. Drove down from Philadelphia to the Fells Point, MD restaurant to meet up with and have dinner with friends from Baltimore. The fried rice and crab were OK. I didn’t realize that the entire crab was submerged in the rice. The “dead man” was still inside the crab, and it was a disgusting bitter taste that ruined the meal. My friends had salmon, mashed potatoes, and asparagus, and the other one had crabcake, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. There is on-street parking as well as a huge parking lot across the street that they own. There are several mounted television screens inside and we were able to see the Baltimore Ravens football game. There is a bar also.

My husband and I had lunch here in honor of his birthday, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The all-you-can-eat blue crabs were exceptionally delicious and offered excellent value for the price. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in town.

We had a great time here! They have free parking and the restaurant is nice. The food was delicious. We ordered calamari, and I had the cream of crab soup, which was so creamy and delicious. For entrees, I selected the lobster roll with chips, and I was not let down. It tasted fresh, and there was plenty of lobster in the roll. The waitress was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. The table seated near us was very loud, though. I would be back if I’m ever in the area again.

Captain James Seafood Palace is a must stop when in the Baltimore Harbor area. Please understand that there are two restaurants: (1) Outdoor covered and uncovered dock dining that offers a limited seafood (crabs) and carb (sides) menu; and (2) and indoor dining directly across the street.

Parking – They have a FREE parking lot.

Reservations – For the indoor dining, I would highly recommend making reservations as the seating is limited. For the dock dining, they have ample space both covered and uncovered.

We chose the indoor dining due to having kids and a more extensive menu being offered (but in the past we’ve dined on the dock). Luckily, we were able to get in with no reservation, but had to be done by a certain time for a reservation coming in. The indoor seating may seem tight and noisy at times when fully occupied, but it’s worth it. I recommend if a special occasion, to come early in the day.

Service – Our service was impeccable. Joyce took care of us and left nothing for us to want, as refills were always on time, she checked in on us frequently, even gave great recommendations from the menu.

Food – The food came out hot and fresh. As we observed other tables, everyone’s food came out with steam. We try a few things: Soy Salmon, calamari, Caesar salad, garlic bread, burger, pasta, wings, corn on the cob, and apple cobbler to top it all off. Everything was delicious and great.

Bar – They do have a bar onsite at both locations. The indoor bar is rather small 4-6 seats. The outdoor bar has plenty of seating.

Take out – They do offer take out service as well.

Large groups – They do offer space for large groups and at times will open the top deck for a believe 25+ people. Call to inquire.

Traditional Baltimore hole in the wall restaurant. I’m not at big crab cake guy but I do love buffalo wings. The honey old bay had good favor and it comes with fantastic, homemade blue cheese. The Salmon BLT was my favorite. The bacon had a strong smoked flavor and the salmon was very tender and natural tasting.

Great “pub” located in the cut in Baltimore. The area has an old charm vibe. It didn’t really look like a pub though. Crab is the star of the show here. The Crab cakes are massive (11oz) and nothing but crab!!! Very delicious. Small space and they used every inch of it. Service was good and the bathrooms were clean. The wings were ok, the coconut shrimp was great. The creamy crab dip… It’s creamy, but I wasn’t a huge fan. It tasted like nothing but a really thick cream without much flavor. It was different. Overall great spot!

Service was fantastic! Attentive servers, we were seated without reservations (reservations are HIGHLY recommended). Food was delicious, the crab cakes are baseball sized and 90% crab and 10% “cake”, the slaw accompaniment was yummy. The crab soup was delicious, the honey mustard wings are perfection. The onion rings were a tad over fried. Drinks had variety! The place was buzzing!

Mom’s crab soup was packed with massive strands of crab in a light tomato and veg broth and was good enough on its own with a pint of beer; however, the crab cakes exceeded expectations. Their 11oz of huge lumbs of crab meat and virtually no filler. I frankly don’t know how they keep it from falling apart with so little breadcrumbs and batter. Yeah, the fries and slaw were excellent too, but Koco’s crab cakes are worth every penny of their market price.

Best crab cake I’ve ever had. They’re big, fluffy, and have no shell at all.

Stellar restaurant in the heart of Fells Point,
Baltimore. Each time I’ve been there, the service has been incredible and the food equally as good. I often order the special, as they usually involve a delicious fish concoction, and/or homemade pasta with fish. This particular time was one of the best food-wise, as the specials included homemade gnocchi with lobster & rockfish with pasta. Both were SO good! To the point where the people sitting next to us ordered the same thing after seeing ours and hearing our reactions. The cucumber salad was a nice addition and palette cleanser, as we went back and forth trying each others dishes. I also recommend the mussels – they’re my go-to usually, and always delicious! They have an extensive raw bar, and being right near the water, it’s always fresh and delicious! You should make a reservation, since it is a smaller place, and popular due to the quality of service and food. Leave extra time for parking, as it can be tricky around that area, especially on weekends.

Everything about this experience was perfect. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere was authentic and inviting. The music track was great. The restrooms were all gender. The food was delicious throughout. We enjoyed the charred beet and goat cheese salad, an apple soup special, lots of tasty oysters, the lobster roll, and peanut butter pie. Each dish was delicious.

I’m in Baltimore for two weeks and I have frequented this restaurant twice. The first time was with my husband. We ordered from the raw bar menu, along with soup and entree. All was delicious. A week later, I returned with two friends and it was another wonderful experience. Thank you for a fabulous seafood experience times two!

Very popular spot in Fells Point. Great place to get Lobster Rolls and Oysters. Their Mussels are also to die for. The soup base for the mussels are just right, not too salty or bland. I think the price is a little bit on the higher side, but considering the location, I think it isn’t too bad. I would definitely return!

Unbelievable oysters and seafood. Get an oyster shooter if you’re brave! Lobster roll is a 10 out of 10, as are are the raw oysters and crab cake. Crab soup is great but a little too spicy for my taste. Highly recommend, this is the real deal!
