bay management did nothing for over a year, I’ve had mice for over a year. I begged and pleaded for months and yall did nothing. And the solutions are really all very half baked and recent:
I should have had dry wall in my basement before I ever moved in. He did not seal any crawl spaces, he put up dry wall. Why would he need to do that? You guys let me move into a completely unfinished home which is why the issue got this bad. Let’s be real. And how is dry wall stopping mice?! You were supposed to pour concrete to fill holes. It wasn’t done. Supposed to pull things out and properly look for entry holes. It wasn’t done. Supposed to properly check if anything was nesting in my back yard or in my garage. Nothing.
Im glad youre suddenly aware how hard it can be to get mice out of a property like this. My first report was April 2023 (picture added to show initial maintenance request, I was denied help) You said it was on me and forced me to pay for exterminators out of pocket until even the exterminators said THEY CANT DO ANYTHING UNTIL YOU DO.
It’s a full blown infestation cause I complained for months and was ignored for months until they took over the house. Probably would be easier had I received help last year. I’m not sure why we’re looking into blaming neighbors when we haven’t done everything we can do to stop them from being able to enter to property I’m renting. Why not address entry points first?
There’s no way it should still be ongoing if you guys actually cared to help me when it started. If you knew I had a consistent issue for over a year, why has nobody reached out to try and offer other solutions? If we’ve known the property isn’t structurally sound and has a rodent infestation for months, is there nothing else the company can do for me at all? Like I said there’s a general nonchalance and that’s why this issue is still ongoing. I paid 1500 a month to have a mice and RAT infestation cause city rats were in my house and you guys still didn’t help me. Orkin did. For over a year. And still no sense of urgency from anybody. It’s really sad. You guys just started helping recently, and we know what changed recently.
My property manager doesn’t reach out to me until I find a new mouse or a new fly infestation and send her pictures and essays pleading and she can’t ignore me anymore. There is never any update, unless I reach out first. Throughout all of this, the only consistent thing I have gotten is rent reminders. Will anybody reach out knowing this has what’s been happening for over a year? I sent her a mouse in my trash can and she left the office and told nobody to reach out to me. For weeks. And nobody else will speak to me except through google review. Why?
I rented with this company before, and had a good experience. I came back, but to a single dwelling and it’s been hell on earth since. I’m not sure if it’s the landlord dragging their feet or what the issue is, but nobody seems to want to help me.
I’ve had a SEVERE rodent infestation for a little over a year. When I first told the company, they told me it was on me. So I’ve always paid for exterminator for a little over a year. They managed it but it keeps getting worse to the point I can’t cook or have any food in my house. The exterminator finally told me that there’s nothing they can do until things are done to the structure of the house. Mice and rats will keep getting in.
It took over a year for you guys to even send pest control. You send an inspection team to look at things and they were shocked and appalled you hadn’t helped me with any sort of pest control yet. Orkin is shocked too. Everybody is so shocked that you guys do nothing and yet you continue to do nothing.
Now I’m being threatened with eviction, when I’ve never even paid rent late before. It was a last resort. They wouldn’t even send anybody or look my way until I withheld money. I’m adding pictures to show what I’ve been going through for months. I truly hope somebody reaches out to make it right . If not I’ll see yall in court but at least I tried.

From a tenant point of view, Bay Property Management at first seemed unorganized and inattentive. Our first year working with the management company, we often didn’t receive responses about maintenance issues is a timely manner and had a revolving door of changing property managers. We were reassigned Ian Ramos as our property manager and it has been great since then! He reaches out to make sure our maintenance needs are met with local contractors where needed, shares reminders on keeping up the place, and is very communicative on anything else needed for the property.
