The Craft Castle is the perfect example of what makes Baltimore Charm City! I feel so lucky to have somewhere like this to spend time. Reserve your spot for 2 hours of crafting, with just about any medium or supply you can think of available to you. No need to bring your own supplies or even your own ideas, since inspiration is everywhere! The first visit is well-designed: Craig facilitates a welcoming environment and shares some direction on a small first project to get started, so you have a bit of structure and it’s not too overwhelming. Regardless of the day, everyone else is lovely and the low-pressure conversation is the perfect vibe for both quieter meditative crafters and the social butterflies. I can’t recommend this experience highly enough - I’ll be back again next week! ✨

It’s hard to describe how lucky I feel to have The Craft Castle nearby. Ever been stressed out at a paint-your-own-pottery place? (Or maybe that’s just a me problem?) Craig has managed to create a space where the focus is less on the finished product, and more about the joy of making. He has every craft supply you can think of, and many that you didn’t know existed. I’ve come alone and with friends, and both are great. There’s never pressure to talk to anyone, but if you do, the people there are always lovely. Highly recommend!

I’ve walked by Craft Castle a zillion times and every time I’d think to myself how much fun it looked and that I should check it out…then I’d keep walking and forget about it. Recently a friend suggested signing up so I did and am SO glad!!! It was the most fun and restorative activity I’ve done in a long time! Where else can you be with a group of like minded people and leave with a shrinky dink!!! I highly recommend anyone who needs a little joy infused into their life sign up!! You’ll be glad you did!!

What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon — no Sunday Scaries here! I have been tapping into my creativity lately after having been “bad at art” as a kid, and the Craft Castle is such a welcoming and safe space to do so! Highly highly recommend!

What a unique experience! We attended in a group for a 30th birthday party on a Saturday night. Whether you’re crafty or not, the owner Craig has created a space where all can have a positive, grounding experience. Just walking around trying to decide which craft supplies to pick from was half the fun. We will definitely be back!
